Basketball betting is one of the easiest sports to bet on. In basketball games you can wager on Point Spread Bets or use the Over/Under Bet, also called "Total" .

The Point Spread system gives a fixed number to one of the teams as a handicap to make both teams equal in terms of betting. The favorite Team will "lay" points to the underdog team expected to lose.

The Over/Under Bet is a prediction on the total score of both teams in a single game. The Sportsbook will provide a fixed score for the game and the bettors will take their chances; the options will be "Over" where the score is more than the fixed number set, or "Under" where the score is less than the fixed number.
