It is not worthy to chase every flush draw and if you try chasing every flush draw, you will quickly end up broking in your game. Looking at whether you are getting the pot odds in the poker hand is the most important factor to look at. When your opponent is betting into the pot, you should calculate your pot odds for finding out if it is worthy for you to make the call and chase the flush draw or not.

If there are the correct pot odds in your hand, then you should also consider the hands seeming beatable to you even you strike the flush. Almost there will be no hand for beating you, unless no full house or straight flush is there.

Determining the progression of your opponent is also important for you. If you expect that your opponent could make up the big bets on the turn, then you should avoid calling on the flop unless the bet is so smaller.
