Keep in mind that a call is solicited only when you are trapping your opponent; failing this only a raise is required. Players in late positions can be trapped with a call. However, a tight player who has moved after several rounds should not be re-raised at all.


• Playing deep tournaments - When playing poker tournaments it is crucial that you play for the first position. A short handed play at the last two tables is the place to stack up your chips in order to apply pressure on those who are playing a tight game. Do not hesitate at this point; since it will give you game away.
